GHOSTS IN THE GRAVEYARD BRING THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE WITH ‘MONSTERS FOR THE MASSES: RESURRECTED’
Seattle’s gothic rockers resurrect their cult horror-inspired album just in time for Halloween, delivering a darker, reimagined journey through the haunted house of the human mind.
Just when you thought it was safe to turn out the lights, Seattle-based deathrock outfit Ghosts In The Graveyard have returned with Monsters For The Masses: Resurrected, released October 23, 2026, through Re Entertainment.
Celebrating the tenth anniversary of their original 2016 album, the band have gone far beyond a conventional remaster. They’ve torn their original creation apart and stitched it back together, breathing new life into its gothic atmosphere with rebuilt production, haunting electronic textures and a renewed sense of theatrical darkness.

Blending deathrock, darkwave and post-punk with the unmistakable influence of classic horror cinema and literature, the 13-track release promises a twisted musical journey packed with monsters, melancholy and macabre storytelling.
Speaking about the release, filmmaker, musician and frontman Byron C. Miller shared his excitement:
“This album means the world to me. I think fans of horror, Halloween, goth, and dark theatrical rock are going to love this! We took inspiration from horror films and literature to craft something that’s fun, moving, creepy, weird, and maybe a little scary. A trip through the haunted house in your head.”
The resurrection includes a completely reconstructed version of fan favourite Better In Black, accompanied by a blood-soaked restoration of its original music video. Monster Mask returns with an even more atmospheric gothic sound, while the band’s cover of The Afghan Whigs’ Debonair introduces the album’s only entirely new recording.
With Paul Morgan rebuilding the original tracks and Chris Longo handling mastering duties, the album offers both longtime fans and newcomers a fresh opportunity to descend into the band’s uniquely theatrical world.

Ghosts In The Graveyard, featuring Byron C. Miller, Paul Morgan, Kaylie Cortez and Shelly Smith, have built their identity around exploring the monsters lurking beneath everyday life. Their music reaches beyond horror imagery to explore obsession, desire, isolation and the things that continue to haunt us long after the credits roll.
For horror fans who like their music as dark as their movies, this is one resurrection worth celebrating.
