Reaching 144% Funding With Eight Days Remaining
Independent horror project BEDROTTERS has officially smashed its Kickstarter target, reaching 144% of its initial funding goal with eight days still remaining in the campaign.
The project originally set out to raise £2,000, with the funding earmarked to ensure the film’s sound design could receive a professional final mix.
That target is now firmly in the rear-view mirror.
With the original goal secured, the BEDROTTERS team has announced its first round of stretch goals, giving supporters the chance to help push the finished film even further during the campaign’s final days.

£3,000 Stretch Goal: Colour Grade
The first new milestone is £3,000, which would provide additional support for the film’s professional colour grade.
With sound now covered, the filmmakers are turning their attention to making sure BEDROTTERS looks every bit as unsettling as it sounds.
Additional grading resources would allow the team to further refine the atmosphere, tone and overall cinematic aesthetic of the finished film, an especially important ingredient in horror, where a perfectly innocent-looking hallway can become deeply suspicious with approximately three clicks in DaVinci Resolve.

£3,500 Stretch Goal: Professional Key Art
If the campaign reaches £3,500, the production will commission professionally designed key artwork and poster art for BEDROTTERS.
For an independent horror film heading towards the festival and publicity circuit, strong key art can become an enormous part of the project’s identity.
The finished artwork would be used across festival submissions, screenings, publicity materials and the film’s eventual release, giving BEDROTTERS a distinctive visual identity designed to grab attention before audiences have even pressed play.
And, frankly, horror deserves posters that make you stop scrolling and quietly think, “Well, that looks deeply unpleasant. I need to see it immediately.”
More Stretch Goals Could Be Coming
The team has also teased that reaching these first two targets could unlock two additional stretch goals during the campaign’s final week.
With the original £2,000 target already surpassed and eight days remaining, BEDROTTERS now enters the increasingly exciting part of crowdfunding where every additional pledge can directly increase the production value of the finished film.
For everyone who has already supported the project, the filmmakers have issued a huge thank you.
But the campaign isn’t finished yet.
BEDROTTERS is funded. Now the question is just how far they can take it.
